Week 3
Although on the outside your pregnant belly has not grown, there has been a great deal of changes happening on the inside. The embryo is now 1.5 to 2.5mm in size, which is significantly bigger than it was two weeks ago, which has the beginnings of a nervous system, brain, stomach and skeleton. The embryo is also taking on the beginnings of a recognisable shape. Later in this week your baby to be will have a beating heart, although the heart chambers wont be fully formed for a while yet.
