By the end of this week, the shape of the baby is more developed, although because there aren’t any eyes, ears or mouth, it still doesn’t look like a baby yet. Tiny bumps are beginning to appear on the embryo, these are the beginnings of arms and legs. The spinal chord at this stage resembles a tail which will contain the tiny vertebrae.

Mum to be may begin to notice the first symptoms of pregnancy, such as morning sickness, however this is more common in week six. More estrogen is being produced by your body, which can cause the nausea.
