Pregnancy Calendar - Week35

You’ve not got a 6 lbs baby, plus the weight of the amniotic fluid, placenta etc, so no wonder you feel it difficult to walk more than a few feet with that waddle of yours. Not to mention the backache and continuous fatigue. So rest whenever you can and drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.

You might be noticing some of the contractions are increasing, if you start having contractions continuously then labour is on its way.

Your Doctor or midwife may start to monitor the thinning of the cervix and dilation as a way of predicting the big day. If the cervix is dilated, birth is not far away, you might have some discharge, or spotting of blood, however if you feel worried talk to your Doctor.
