Week 14

Month four sees the baby starting to do somersaults in your pregnant belly, although because of the size your still unlikely to feel it. Their can move their hands and may even start to suck their thumb. Your baby is beginning to move its eyes this week, albeit that its eyelids remain permanently shut. Your baby’s facial expressions are developing, they can frown, grimace and squint.

Week 16 is the date at which most women get to tell which sex their baby is when they go for their first ultrasound.

You are enjoying the second trimester, which most argue is the most enjoyable pregnancy trimester. The morning sickness is decreasing or gone, you don’t yet feel over full or find it difficult to get around, your not suffering from constipation, but you do look and feel pregnant.
