Well..I can say, If your stretch marks are particularly bad, you may consult with your doctor or a dermatologist. Some topical treatments such as tretinoin cream can help reduce stretch marks. Advanced peptides help to heal damaged skin areas all over the body – belly, hips and thighs, abdomen and stomach area. There are some newer treatments including laser treatments however that may improve the skins elasticity and help reduce stretch marks..but you must consult your doctor about laser treatment before doing this….

Hi

We have friends that have bought the spring free trampoline. They are really pleased with it (its not cheap about AUD$1600 ), the only down side is that it is so big it takes up half the garden, and needs three people to move it, which they have to do weekly so that their new lawn doesn't die from being under the trampoline permanently.

We have other friends who also bought the normal type of trampoline at Xmas, they have three boys, and are very happy with this, so far no accidents! Although it is enormous and is virtually taking up the whole garden. Their trampoline was a lot cheaper, about a third of the price.

I like the idea of the springfree but it does seem very expensive.

I was very lucky and didn't develop stretchmarks. There are few tips you could use to prevent them. You should drink plenty of fluids during pregnancy, and do some exercises.

You try special creams or oils that prevent stretchmarks. I'm not sure that most of the creams that claim to prevent stretch marks work. I will ask some of my girlfriends and see if they have some suggestions for you.

I am pregnant and want to know if anyone has had any luck with skin care for stopping stretchmarks? I have heard that some are not safe to use and can harm my baby but I am so confused by which ones are ok and actually work to prevent stretchmarks, as I happily grow into my 9 month bump!

I have identical twin girls. I was diagnosed at 15 weeks with having Monochorionic monoamniotic twins. The student doctor who was giving me the scan, went quiet and then went out to get the consultant. Next thing i know is this professor is telling me that I should prepare myself that I have a rare pregnancy and the chances of my babies surviving full term are 50/50. I was in total shock, and then had to travel over two hours to get home to tell my husband that a normal scan wasn't a normal scan.

It was from this point that my dramatic pregnancy began. We spent the next fearful twenty four hours reading all the medical jargon and horror stories on the net, before we went to our first appointment at the hospital.

We were lucky that we were living in England, and were able to go to the teaching hospital in Oxford. We then spent the rest of the pregnancy having a scan each week and having an experimental treatment that reduces the amniotic fluid so reduces the chances of chord entanglement. we got excellent care from the hospital and got to see how Dr and nurses can get close to their patients when one of the other couples who began treatment at the same time as us, they were being were being treated for twin to twin transfusion, and who we became friends with, they lost one of their babies and we saw how devasted the hospital staff were.

Cutting a long story short, we were very very lucky, and thanks to the excellent care we got at the John Radcliffe hospital we had two healthy baby girls at 27weeks. It was afterwards when we were asked to go to some of the student lectures, that we found out they two previous couples in the same boat as us had not been so lucky, and we were the first to have both twins survive. We counted our lucky stars that day.

Well I hope my short story might go some way to helping other women that might be in the same situation that I was when first diagnosed and Googled Monochorionic monoamniotic twins.

I look forward to hearing from other women their stories.

Hi everyone
I wondered if anyone else had the same difficulty with losing weight after their pregnancy.

I had twins who are now eight, but since then I have been unable to loose the weight I gained while being pregnant.

I have been thinking of having another baby but am concerned that I have read that it is not good for you to be overweight if trying to get pregnant as it increases the risks involved.

As anyone else similar experience of thoughts they could share?
